Scholarship & Future Leaders FAQs

  • Are all your Future Leaders programmes online? Will there be recordings available?

Yes, all of our Future Leaders programmes in Engineering, Medicine, Law, and Economics are conducted online in real time. This interactive format allows you to engage directly with tutors, ask questions, and participate in discussions throughout each session.

Additionally, all lectures will be recorded and made available for you to watch afterward. Whether you miss a session or simply want to review the content, you’ll have full access to revisit the material at your convenience.

Moreover, each Future Leaders programme includes the opportunity for one-on-one online sessions with tutors from the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford. These private sessions provide a supportive environment where you can discuss any unresolved lecture content, gain valuable insights for your future, and ask any questions in a personalized setting.

  • How does the scholarship programme work?

You must first complete the scholarship application form, specifying what you hope to achieve from your chosen programme and highlighting any extracurricular accomplishments that make you a strong candidate.

On the form, you will need to provide the name and email of a referee. Your referee can be a teacher, head of year, headmaster, or any staff member familiar with your academic achievements. We may contact them if additional information is required.

Our committee will carefully review your application. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will receive an email with instructions on how to enroll in your chosen programme.

  • When do the future leaders programmes run?

The future leaders programmes take place in July and August every year. This year, we are offering four Future Leaders programmes: Engineering, Medicine, Economics, and Law.

Each programme lasts approximately one month, typically starting in the first week of the month and concluding in the last week. All classes are recorded, so if you miss a session, you can watch and review it later to stay on track with your cohort.

  • Can students from any school apply for this scholarship?

Yes! Students from all types of schools, both within the UK and internationally, are more than welcome to apply. Whether you attend a state, private, grammar, or international school—or any other type of institution—your application will be assessed solely on merit and qualifications.

We take great pride in the diversity of our students, with past scholarship winners coming from a wide range of geographical and educational backgrounds. To learn more about our previous winners, visit the news section of our website or follow us on social media.

One of the key benefits of our programme is the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers from around the world, fostering a global network of future leaders and lifelong friendships.

  • I am 15 years old. Can I still apply for the scholarship or enroll in the Future Leaders programme?

Our four Future Leaders programmes are designed for students aged 16–18. However, if you are an exceptionally talented 15-year-old, you are welcome to apply. If accepted, our tutors can provide additional reading materials and resources to help you catch up with the programme content if needed.iption goes here

Research Bootcamp FAQs

  • Can I enroll in both the Research Bootcamp and the Future Leaders programme?

Yes, you can! While it is not compulsory, we encourage students to enroll in both programmes for a well-rounded experience.

In the Future Leaders programme, you will focus more on your chosen subject and work on a project of interest as part of the programme. Meanwhile, the Research Bootcamp is designed to develop university-level research skills, teaching you how to explore academic sources, extract key insights, and analyse them critically.

Both programmes are scheduled in a way that ensures no overlapping classes, allowing students to participate in both without conflicts.

Mock Interview FAQs

  • Where is the interview conducted?

All of our interviews are online. We can arrange the call on your software platform of choice (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype etc)

  • How long is the interview?

The interview is 30 mins long in total. It includes verbal feedback at the end.

  • Will I receive feedback?

Feedback will be provided immediately after the interview, and you will also receive a written report outlining strengths and development areas, with guidance on how to improve.

  • Who will do the interviews?

All interviews will be conducted by Oxbridge alumni or current students. Having experience the interview process and Oxbridge supervisions themselves, they will be able to offer the closest experience to the real Oxbridge interview.
